About the role
The Knights need two things from video: compelling content for their digital platforms and useful analytical clips for the technical staff. This role covers both, working on a per-project or retainer basis.
You will produce match highlights and club content for public distribution, and cut game footage into structured analytical clips for the coaching team.
What you'll do
- Produce match highlight reels for social media distribution within 24 hours of each game
- Edit longer-form club content for YouTube (features, interviews, behind-the-scenes)
- Cut game footage into analytical sequences for coaching staff review
- Maintain a clean, organised library of all club footage
- Adapt output format and style across platforms (vertical for TikTok/Reels, widescreen for YouTube)
What we're looking for
- Professional-level video editing skills (Premiere Pro or equivalent)
- Experience producing sports highlights or event content
- Fast turnaround capability — match highlights needed same/next day
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing
- Ability to work independently to a brief with minimal supervision
Nice to have
- Experience with sports analytics or tactical video tools
- Motion graphics or title card design skills
- Ability to film as well as edit (camera operation at matches)
